Thursday, December 19th | 6:30pm-8:00pm | History Happy Hour: Solstice Magic

Countless cultures have celebrated the Winter Solstice around the world for thousands of years. Today, in an increasingly commercialized society, many people yearn for traditions that bring us back to our ancestral roots and help us connect with energetic shifts that occur throughout the seasons. In this class, we’ll explore various ways the Winter Solstice has been celebrated over time and what these traditions offer us in the present. You’ll leave class not only with historical and cultural knowledge of the Winter Solstice but also a little magic to take home and incorporate into your own observances of this darkest day of the year.

Please note: Each ticket includes one happy hour drink, or a non-alcoholic drink, of your choice. Drinks and mingling will take place from 6:30pm-7:00pm, and the class itself will run from 7:00pm-8:00pm. Students will also receive 10% off dinner at Nox the day of class.

This class is appropriate for ages 16+.

This class will take place at Nox Cocktail Lounge, located at 302 Goodman St N., Rochester NY, 14607.
