Thursday, December 9th | 7:00pm-8:30pm | History Happy Hour: Winter Solstice Magic

Countless cultures have celebrated the Winter Solstice around the world for thousands of years. Today, in an increasingly commercialized society, many people yearn for traditions that bring us back to our ancestral roots and help us connect with energetic shifts that occur throughout the seasons. Join in an exploration of various ways the Winter Solstice has been celebrated over time and what these traditions offer us in the present. Participants will leave this class not only with historical and cultural knowledge of the Winter Solstice, but also a little magic to take home and incorporate into their own observances on this darkest day of the year.

Please note: While we're not able provide a beverage for you during class, we encourage students to grab their favorite beverage - alcoholic or non-alcoholic - to enjoy during this virtual happy hour.

This class is appropriate for ages 18+.
