Tuesday, June 14th | 6:30pm-8:00pm | Houseplants 101: Spring + Summer Prep

Plants are finally waking up to the longer days after a few months of hibernation! Each student will leave with a plant kit and a spring care guide created by The Botanist.

Please note: This is a beginner level class for those who may have never had a green thumb. Students will learn the basics of houseplant care, including light, watering, fertilizer, when to repot, trim, types of soil, and drainage.

This class is appropriate for ages 18+.

This class will take place indoors at Rochester Brainery located at 176 Anderson Ave F109, Rochester, NY 14607

Live subtitles will be available upon request during this class. If you prefer a sign language interpreter, please fill out our contact form. Please also let us know if you have any preferences (seating, vision access, etc).

About the teacher:
Shelby Rae is a Rochestarian with a passion for plants. With the hundreds of thousands of plant species in the world, it's hard to be a true expert in Botany, but Shelby has been traveling the country meeting with growers, viewing plants in their natural habitats, seeking expert advice, and researching so you don't have to. This is an educational company geared to providing the urban community of Rochester (and surrounding areas) houseplant knowledge to those who wish to bring nature into their homes.
