In this class, you will learn how to make your favorite Asian style snacks to satisfy your warm-weather cravings! Using mostly raw ingredients means we get to enjoy this warm weather without the hassle of turning on the oven to cook. Because these rolls are plant-based (vegan) everyone can enjoy them! After learning how to make these rolls, each participant will have a chance to make some rolls themselves as a delicious snack.
Please note: This class is using nut-free and gluten free ingredients and contains no animal products.
This class will take place at Eat Me Ice Cream, located inside The Hungerford Building at 1115 E Main St, Rochester, NY 14609. Please enter through Door 1.
About the teacher:
Ali Lawrence is the founder and owner of Spirit and Abundance, a company that seeks to help people connect and cultivate joy, mindfulness, and gratitude in a plant-based kitchen. She is a graduate from The Culinary Institute of America with a degree in Baking and Pastry, and The School of Hotel Administration from Cornell University. During her time at Cornell, she studied Zen Buddhism and that sparked her interest and passion in veganism, mindfulness, and meditation.
