If you love the look of chainmaile and want to learn to make your own chains, this class is for you. Byzantine technique is suitable for beginners as well as those with some experience. There is no soldering in this class. Just bring your wrist for measuring length!
Please note: Please note: This class will take place at Studio 34 Creative Arts Center and Gallery located at 34 Elton St, Rochester, NY 14607. Bring a pair of safety glasses or purchase from the instructor ($5).
About the teacher:
Marilynne Lipshutz is the executive director of Studio34 Creative Arts Center, located in Rochester's Neighborhood of the Arts for more than 16 years. Marilynne retired as a psychotherapist and took up glass blowing, glass fusing, jewelry making, and casting as a hobby which grew into a successful teaching studio, now home to 28 local faculty and visiting artists from around the globe.
