About the teacher:
Ever the chocoholic, Lindsay Tarnoff grew up in a family of bakers and sweet tooths, a family who instilled in her social justice values. As college graduation neared, and the question of a career post-college was imminent, she started telling people she was going to "save the world with chocolate." Lindsay spent the years immediately following college working in the nonprofit world, but the idea of saving the world with chocolate brewed in her mind. Lindsay has devoted time and passion in developing a meaningful mission, delicious recipes, and a strong business, first in her native Rhode Island, then in her adopted home of Rochester, NY. Her business, Laughing Gull Chocolates combines chocolate - the food of the gods - with the community in order to make a difference at home and in the communities that produce our beloved chocolate.
