Introduction to Fusing: Pocket Vase

Saturday, May 8th | 2:00pm-4:00pm | Introduction to Fusing: Pocket Vase

Let's have fun with fusing! In this class, students will design and create a fused glass pocket vase. A pocket vase is a lovely addition for indoor or outdoor decor! Students will design a vase and learn to cut, shape, and assemble it. Using special fiber paper to create a negative space (for water and flowers), pieces are placed into a kiln for firing.

Please note: No experience necessary. Please bring a pair of safety glasses or purchase from the studio ($5).

This class is appropriate for ages 14+.

This class will take place indoors at Studio 34 Creative Arts Learning Center, located at 34 Elton St, Rochester, NY 14607. The studio is located on the second floor of the largest of the three brick buildings on Elton St. Please use the entrance on the right side of the building. Additional parking is located at the corner of Atlantic and Elton.
