Monday, July 6th | 6:00pm-8:00pm | Introduction to Glass Fusing

Join us as we learn the popular art of glass fusing! In this class, students will create a flat decorative piece or square bowl. Students choose from a huge assortment of glass colors, textures, and components to design their piece. During the design process, students learn how to safely and easily cut glass for their pattern. At the end of class, projects are place in kilns to be fused (melted flat). A second kiln firing, called "slump," will produce a shaped bowl piece. Projects will be available for pickup one week after class.

Please note: All tools will be provided and no prior experience is required. Please bring safety glasses with you or be prepared to purchase a pair from the studio ($5). Please wear closed-toed shoes.

This class is appropriate for ages 18+.
