Thursday, July 16th | 6:00pm-7:30pm | Introduction to Glass Fusing: Pocket Vase

Let's have fun with fusing! In this class, students will design and create fused glass art with a garden theme. A pocket vase is a lovely addition for indoor or outdoor decor! Students design a vase and learn to cut, shape, and assemble it. Using special fiber paper to create a negative space (for water and flowers), pieces are placed into a kiln for firing.

Please note: All tools will be provided and no prior experience is required. Please bring safety glasses with you or be prepared to purchase a pair from the studio ($5). Please wear closed-toed shoes.

This class is appropriate for ages 18+.

This class will take place at Studio 34 Creative Arts Learning Center, located at 34 Elton St, Rochester, NY 14607. The studio is located on the second floor of the largest of the three brick buildings on Elton St. Please use the entrance on the right side of the building under the awning labeled #34. Additional parking is located at the corner of Atlantic and Elton.
