Toss pizza dough in the air with confidence after this class! Using a provided pizza making kit, you will learn how to make a simple dough from scratch. Then, while the dough "takes a nap," journey through the history of pizza and various types of pizza, as well as the essential home pizza-making tools. Refine your dough stretching techniques, review fermentation processes, and perfect the art of properly topping and baking a pizza - then enjoy it at the end of class!
Please note: In the drop-down menu, please select Single Ticket or Ticket for Two. The Ticket for Two allows two students to work together on one pizza. Please also choose from vegetarian or meat pizza in the drop down menu when purchasing. Students will receive additional ingredients to make a second pizza at home using the dough that's prepared during the hands on portion of the class. At this time, vegan and gluten-free options are not available for this class.
This class is appropriate for ages 18+.
This class will take place at Eat Me Ice Cream located inside The Hungerford Building at 1115 East Main St. Suite 148. Please enter through Door 1.

About the teacher:
Luis Perez has worked in multiple facets of the restaurant industry in the last 14 years, and 10 out of his 14 years were spent working in the pizza industry. Luis found himself missing the pizza industry after a three year break and started his own pizza business called Peels On Wheels. Peels on Wheels is a fully mobile concept where Neapolitan style pizzas are stretched, topped and baked in under 5 minutes directly in front of customers. Luis is well versed in many different styles of pizza and loves sharing his pizza knowledge with others.
