In this class, students will learn the steps needed to form, design, and glaze their very own slab serving platter! We will employ a rolled slab technique to form the platter and then use assorted slump molds to help achieve the perfect form. Studio stamps and tools will be available to students to create their own unique design.
Please note: Student projects will be fired after class and will be available for pickup 2-3 weeks later. Students are welcome to bring their own textures or stamps to use.
This class is appropriate for ages 18+.
This class will take place indoors at Rochester Brainery, located at 176 Anderson Ave. F109, Rochester, NY 14607.
Live subtitles will be available upon request during this class. If you prefer a sign language interpreter, please fill out our contact form. Please also let us know if you have any preferences (seating, vision access, etc).
