Pansy Living Wreath

Sunday, April 25th | 1:00pm-2:30pm | Pansy Living Wreath

The sweet scent of pansies, oh my! Pansies are an edible flower that most gardeners think of when they think of spring. In this class, students will use a heavy duty, reusable wire frame that is lined with Oregon moss to plant pansies in to make their living wreath. This wreath is great for decorating doors, trellises, arbors, outdoor tables, and fences.

Please note: Although not required, consider bringing a pair of rubber gloves since students will be working with wet moss.

This class is appropriate for ages 18+.

This class will take place indoors at Jamie's Greenhouse, located at 1965 Watson Hulburt Rd. Macedon, NY.

About the teacher:
Jamie Snyder grew up on a farm that raised livestock, fruit, vegetables, and grain. Her love of plants and the outdoors helped her decide to enroll in college in horticulture, and completed a degree in landscape design from SUNY Morrisville. She worked in the garden center industry for 18 years where she had her hands in everything but also got to be creative designing containers for clients for every season. Jamie's business, Creative Gardens, reflects her passion for plants, flowers, and color!
