Sunday, July 12th | 10:30am-12:00pm | Paper Quilling: Sun

Paper quilling is a craft that involves curling, rolling and shaping strips of paper into shapes, which are then glued together to create different designs. In this class, students will learn to make a unique sun design using paper quilling techniques. Students will use both the basic tools (slotted tool and tweezers) as well as a more intricate tool (quilling comb) to bend and shape 1/4" wide paper strips. Then the students will arrange the unique shapes to mimic a sun design with sunshine rays on a 4" x 6" textured cardstock.

All participants will receive a supply kit that will contain: a quilling comb, precision tip glue bottle, fine tip scissors, circle size ruler, ¼” wide quilling paper, cardstock, glue, and a quilling sun design reference photo sheet.

Please note: In the dropdown, please select if you will also need a slotted quilling tool and tweezers included in your kit. This is an intermediate class meant for students with some prior experience. After purchasing your ticket, please submit your name and shipping address on this Google form by July 5th to receive your kit in time.

The recommended age for this class is 10+.

This class will take place online through Zoom. Links for Zoom classes will be sent by 9:30am the day of the class. If you do not receive your link, please check your spam or email
