Wednesday, February 23rd | 6:30pm-8:30pm | Parenting with Compassion


This class will be an overview of the basic principles of wholehearted child-rearing to raise kind, compassionate, confident "world-changers" based in evidence-based practices and (accessible!) neuroscience. Participants will leave with real-world strategies for parenting in today's changing world, equipped with conversations, activities, and practical advice. Rooted in the philosophy of the Whole-Brain Child by Dr. Daniel Siegel and Tina Payne Bryson. This class is appropriate for all parents and any childcare provider including nannies, daycare professionals, and teachers!

This class is appropriate for ages 14+.

This class will take place indoors at Rochester Brainery, located at 176 Anderson Ave F109, Rochester, NY 14607.

About the teacher:
A social worker, therapist and mom, Brittany Raczkiewicz is dedicated to helping others to make the world a kinder, more compassionate, and resilient place. Brittany currently works as a trainer and consultant on trauma and trauma-informed care across NYS. Brittany believes in the power of true connection with others--including our children-- to heal and empower. Brittany's hobbies include outdoor adventuring with her family, reading, and cooking.
