Thursday, February 24th | 10:00am-12:00pm | Printmaking for Kids

In this print making class geared towards kids between 7 and 14 years old, students will learn how to use printmaking materials to create their own symbol. Once the design is complete, carve a printing block that can be used on multiple surfaces (paper, fabric, etc.),  then learn how to ink the block and print it onto paper. There is nothing better than pulling your first print!

Please note: In additional to the samples provided in class, students are also welcome to bring ideas to carve into their printing block.

This class is appropriate for ages 7 - 14 years old.

This class will take place indoors at Rochester Brainery, located at 176 Anderson Ave F109, Rochester, NY 14607.

If you would like to request a sign language interpreter, please fill out our contact form. Please also let us know if you have any preferences (seating, vision access, etc).
