Calling all boho babes! Grab your friend, sister, Mom or partner and join two of Rochester’s finest fiber artists for a full day textile takeover. In this class, you’ll learn the dyeing technique of shibori using natural indigo and get to practice your skills as you make a gorgeous table runner. You’ll also learn the basics of macrame and hand-knot your very own table runner using natural cotton rope. Use them separately or layer them together when you get home for that perfect boho chic look. All supplies are included as well as a pizza lunch!

About the teachers:
Courtney Craig is a surface designer who enjoys the studio environment and creating custom textiles for interior spaces. Elements of vintage, contemporary, and traditional design are her favorites to explore. Courtney is currently living in Rochester and being inspired every day by the local artisan community.
Laura Seymour is a local fiber artist and owner of Hitch + Cord. She works out of her home studio in Rochester, NY creating modern macrame wall hangings, banners, and plant hangers. When she's not busy making macrame, you can find Laura hunting for finds at antique stores or spending time with her husband and two dogs. Laura is excited to help macrame make a comeback in the Rochester area and looks forward to teaching others about this beautiful art form.
