Create a beautiful silk scarf through the use of gutta resist and silk dyes to create flowing watercoloresque patterns and imagery. In this class, you learn about the serti method and create your own 21” square silk scarf by tracing patterns with gutta, selecting a color palette, and painting with silk dyes. Tracing patterns are provided, or you are welcome to free-hand your patterns. This class is fun and relaxing, and you will come away with a lovely new silk scarf!

Her personal work fuses landscapes, flora and fauna, with the human figure, reflecting on our connection and relationship between our inner and outer environments, offering space in which one can take a quiet walk, find light, and connect. Her teaching approach is informed by her work as an art therapist, and nurtures mindfulness, acceptance and play through art creation.
