Thursday, August 3rd | 6:30PM-8:30PM | Sketch and Stroll

Travel by foot through the elegant East Avenue and Park Avenue neighborhoods as you draw in your sketchbook what attracts the eye, from doorways and windows to gardens and other exterior decor. Students will learn basic drawing skills such as values and textures.

Please note: Please wear appropriate shoes for walking distance. Places to sit during sketching may be limited. Students are encouraged to bring a water bottle with them to stay hydrated.

This class is appropriate for ages 14+.

Class will meet in front of the Strathallan Hotel, located at 550 East Ave, Rochester, NY 14607.

About the teacher:
Carole Agosto has been drawing since she was a child and has used drawing as an outlet for major events that occurred in her life. She has art journals filled with drawings in pen and watercolor. After being inspired by urban sketchers in Chicago, she became a member of Urban Sketchers of Syracuse. Carole is now a member of the Greater Rochester Plein Air art group and has competed in many art competitions.
