This class is designed to inspire both experienced and aspiring songwriters to take the next step in their songwriting process. During this class, participants will explore typical western song structure, lyric and music development, and approaches for finding one’s personal songwriting style.

About the teacher:
Benjamin Sheridan is a local singer/songwriter who performs throughout the Rochester area and surrounding states both as a solo artist as well as a substitute musician for local bands, including Big Eyed Phish. Ben has been performing locally and writing his own music for 10+ years. In addition to performing, Ben is also an accomplished artist and teacher. He works at Spectrum Creative Arts, serving as both the chair of the Art Department as well as teaching art and music classes and lessons.
