In this mini workshop, students will be introduced to the Louis Comfort Tiffany stained glass method. You'll create and finish a small project by cutting and shaping glass, applying copper foil, and soldering.
Please note: Masks are required for both vaccinated and unvaccinated students at Studio 34. Please wear closed toe shoes. Students should bring a pair of safety glasses or purchase from the instructor ($5). Tuition includes choice of glass colors and texture, all materials, and use of tools.
This class is appropriate for ages 18+.
This class will take place indoors at Studio 34 Creative Arts Learning Center, located at 34 Elton St, Rochester, NY 14607. The studio is located on the second floor of the largest of the three brick buildings on Elton St. Please use the entrance on the right side of the building. Additional parking is located at the corner of Atlantic and Elton.

About the teachers:
Michelle Arena is the studio director at Studio 34 Creative Arts Center, she has enjoyed stained glass art for more than 35 years. Michelle teaches all levels and techniques using the Louis Comfort Tiffany Method. She also teaches fused glass, mosaics, and flamework classes. Michelle's art can be seen on display in the Studio 34 Gallery.
Michele Ramsey is a recently retired school teacher and now shares her professional teaching experience as a glass instructor at Studio 34 Creative Arts Center. Michele has studied with world class glass artists to develop her body of work.
