Styling and Shooting for Social Media

Saturday, July 31st | 10:00am-12:00pm | Styling and Shooting For Social Media


This class will walk through the ins and outs of easy styling for every day photography specifically built for social media engagement. Students will learn how to set up flatlays, tableaus, and well-lit photographs as well as how to create a beautiful Instagram feed, the basics of editing photos on a phone, and some strategies for sharing imagery on Instagram in an effective way.


This class is appropriate for ages 18+.

This class will take place online through Zoom. Links for Zoom classes will be sent 1 hour before the start of class. If you do not receive your link, please check your spam or submit an email through our contact page.

About the teacher:
Cara Livermore is a Rochester-born photographer and designer, who has worked in food photography for the past seven years. In 2011 she founded Chickpea Magazine, a whole foods quarterly looking to uplift and inspire the plant-based community. Her work has been in Saveur’s Best Food Blog Awards, Anthropologie, Nordstrom, Goop, and much more.
