Sunday, February 27th | 1:00pm-2:00pm | Succulent Picture Frame

Who likes instant gratification? Join us in the greenhouses for fun in the sun (or at least, the heat) as we plant a 6”x8” vertical garden. We'll use succulents, which are versatile, have striking colors and come in unique forms perfect for projects. Succulents are also forgiving when it comes to watering, and therefore require very little maintenance. We will discuss fast growers along with care, lighting and propagation tips. The finished picture frame gardens can be hung on the wall or set on a table or desk for your enjoyment.

This class is appropriate for ages 18+.

This class will take place indoors at Jamie's Greenhouse, located at 1965 Watson Hulburt Rd. Macedon, NY. The greenhouse is on the Macedon-Fairport border and may show up as Fairport on a GPS.

If you would like to request a sign language interpreter, please fill out our contact form. Please also let us know if you have any preferences (seating, vision access, etc).

About the teacher:
Jamie Snyder grew up on a farm that raised livestock, fruit, vegetables, and grain. Her love of plants and the outdoors helped her decide to enroll in college in horticulture, and completed a degree in landscape design from SUNY Morrisville. She worked in the garden center industry for 18 years where she had her hands in everything but also got to be creative designing containers for clients for every season. Jamie's business, Creative Gardens, reflects her passion for plants, flowers, and color!
