In this seminar, we'll talk about the physiological and emotional aspects of sugar addition and the beginning steps to take back control.
The recommended age for this class is 18+.

About the teacher:
Piera Carubia is a Registered Dietitian and an Integrated Clinical Nutritionist who is focused on health and healing through mind - body modalities and uses a food centric approach to wellness. She has over 20 years of experience in Nutrition and Food Service and has been practicing functional medicine for the past 7 years. Piera obtained a Bachelor degree in Science and Dietetics at the University of Oneonta. She then went on to attend VCU Common Wealth University Medical College for post graduate work in Dietetics and certified in Integrated Energy Therapy. Piera is currently in the process of obtaining a board credential in Functional and Integrative Medicine.
She is currently employed at the University of Rochester, runs a private practice, and manages a group called Life after Weight Loss where she motivates clients to maintain a healthy lifestyle through seminars on the latest prevailing health and nutrition topics and cooking classes.
She has been a long time practitioner of martial arts, yoga and meditation. Her professional focus in the past seven years has been to help people overcome the physiological effects of food addiction and overcoming autoimmune disease through healthy clean living and detoxification.
