Sugar addiction has become an overwhelming problem for millions of Americans and can be a leading cause of weight gain and disease. In this seminar, we'll talk about the physiological and emotional aspects of sugar addiction and explore steps to take back control.
This class is appropriate for ages 18+.
This class will take place indoors at Rochester Brainery located at 176 Anderson Ave f109, Rochester, NY 14607.

About the teacher:
Piera Carubia is a Licensed Registered Dietitian and an Integrative and Functional Nutrition Certified Practitioner. She is focused on health and healing through mind-body modalities and uses a food-centric approach to wellness.
Piera has over 20 years of experience in clinical, community nutrition and food service management. She has been practicing functional medicine for the past 7 years. She obtained her bachelor's degree in Science and Dietetics at the University of Oneonta and attended VCU Common Wealth University Medical College for postgraduate work in Dietetics. Piera is also certified in Integrated Energy Therapy and is a Level 2 Reiki practitioner.
Currently, Piera is employed at the University of Rochester teaching patients how to make lifestyle changes prior to weight loss surgery. Piera also runs a private consultation practice in integrative nutrition and teaches group seminar classes to help motivate clients to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Her seminars cover the latest prevailing health and nutrition topics.
