Come join us for a spooky and spirited Sunday class! Students will embrace the history and folklore of All Hallow’s Eve as they shape and sculpt their very own stoneware bowl or plate. After learning the basics of slab-ware and stoneware sculpting using a diverse range of materials, students will be able to make their pieces truly one-of-a-kind. There will be plenty of eerie inspiration and atmosphere to keep you on your toes! Getting dressed up in some spooky attire is also encouraged!
Please note: No prior pottery skills required! Students' dishes need to be fired after class. Items will be ready for pickup three weeks after the class date. Students are welcome to bring any rubber stamps and everyday textures or inspiration that they wish to incorporate into their work.
This class is appropriate for ages 16+.
This class will take place outdoors at Ritual Clay Company, located at 234 Mill Street Rochester, NY 14614.
