It is time to own your audition! Prospective auditionees will learn to take their acting game to the next level with the tools and experience to maximize their performance within a minimal amount of time.  Amateur, intermediate, and professional actors seeking to improve or develop their skills as a performer can expect to learn the following:

  • Cold Readings
  • Acting vs. Emoting
  • Textual analysis (using sides from The Flick by Annie Baker)
  • Using the "Given Circumstances" of the Scene
  • Points of Focus for Performance
  • Grounding and Body-Awareness

Hands-on participation is not required, but it is highly encouraged! 

This class will take place at Rochester Brainery, located at 176 Anderson Ave F109, Rochester NY 14607.

About the teacher:
Casey Richard Moulton hails from Louisville, Kentucky. He spent the last five years of his life as an actor, acting coach, professor, and graduate student in the M.F.A. Performance program, at the University of Louisville. His latest stage credits include the Devil in Company Outcast’s production of Grown Up Fairy Tales: Shaken, Not Stirred, Dan in Larry Muhammad’s Derby Mine # 4, Major General Ambrose Burnside in the Looking for Lilith Theatre Company’s production of I’m Wearing My Own Clothes, and Edgar in the Josephine Scultpure Park Shakespeare Summer Stage production of King Lear.
