Saturday, July 25th | 10:00am-11:00am | The Care and Planting of Succulents

Succulents are all the hype! In this class, students will learn all about light levels, which grow faster, propagation, soil preparation, and other dos and don'ts for succulent success. Students will also be provided with three 4.5” succulents that they will plant as they learn. Let’s get inspired and be creative with succulents!

Please note: Students will need to bring their own vessel to class. You can bring three individual pots (no more than 6” wide) or one larger container  (10-12”) to plant all of them together. Additional plants will be available for purchase. If in-person classes are not yet permitted under the Phase 4 reopening plan, this class will move online through Zoom on the same date and time and materials can be picked up from Jamie's Greenhouse on July 24th from 4:00pm-6:30pm.

This class is appropriate for ages 18+.

This class will take place at Jamie's Greenhouse, located at  1965 Watson Hulburt Rd. Macedon, NY.

About the teacher:
Jamie Snyder grew up on a farm that raised livestock, fruit, vegetables, and grain. Her love of plants and the outdoors helped her decide to enroll in college in horticulture, and completed a degree in landscape design from SUNY Morrisville. She worked in the garden center industry for 18 years where she had her hands in everything but also got to be creative designing containers for clients for every season. Jamie's business, Creative Gardens, reflects her passion for plants, flowers, and color!
