Discover the fun of glass fusing! Learn the basic techniques of fusing and slumping including an introduction to different types of glass, firing in a kiln, annealing, cutting and shaping glass. You'll get to choose from various colors and textures to complete one project- a glass tile. Projects will be kiln fired and will be available for pick-up the week following class.Please note: All tools provided and no prior experience is required. Please bring safety glasses or purchase from the studio ($5). No open-toed shoes. Marilynne Lipshutz is the executive director of Studio34 Creative Arts Center
, located in Rochester's Neighborhood of the Arts for more than 16 years.
