Tuesday, March 7th | 6:00pm-9:00pm | Ukrainian Egg Decorating: 40 Triangles Division

Come learn how to create pysanky or Ukrainian eggs! This ancient art form uses wax and dyes to create lovely eggs for the Easter season. You’ll learn a little bit about the history of pysanky as well the techniques for preparing and decorating the eggs using a traditional 40 triangles division. You’ll bring home a completed project along with a stand to display your work of art.

This class is appropriate for ages 14+.

This class will take place indoors at Rochester Brainery located at 176 Anderson Ave f109, Rochester, NY 14607.

About the teacher:
Linda Bowers has been addicted to decorating eggs for over 30 years. Her passion has blossomed into her hand-crafted business Just Eggsquisite. Linda’s canvas has ranged in size from the tiny parakeet to the grand ostrich egg. Decorating techniques have included wax resist (pysanky), scratch, carving, acid etching, and jewel box creations.  Linda enjoys sharing her love for egg decorating and experience with others.
