Breakfast is the most important meal of the day! In this class, students will learn how to make tofu scramble and tempeh bacon to take their breakfast to the next level. Students are encouraged to cook along with the demonstration and make two delicious breakfast classics.
- 4 oz. firm tofu
- 1 Tbsp. tamari (soy sauce or liquid aminos)
- 1 Tbsp. maple syrup
- 1 tsp. vegetable bouillon OR 1 cup vegetable broth
- 1 c. hot water
- 8 oz. tempeh
- 1 pot
- 1 pan
- 1 large bowl
- 1 small bowl
- wooden spoon
- two plates
- paper towel or cotton kitchen towel
- small spoon
- measuring cups and spoons
Please note: This class comes with a spice kit that will be available for pickup from Rochester Brainery, located at 176 Anderson Ave F109, Rochester, NY 14607 on April 22nd and 23rd between 4pm-7pm.
This class is appropriate for ages 14+.

About the teacher:
Ali is the founder and owner of Spirit and Abundance, a company that seeks to help people connect and cultivate joy, mindfulness, and gratitude in a plant-based kitchen. She is a graduate from The Culinary Institute of America with a degree in Baking and Pastry, and The School of Hotel Administration from Cornell University. During her time at Cornell, she studied Zen Buddhism and that sparked her interest and passion in veganism, mindfulness, and meditation.
