Thursday, August 4th | 7:00pm-8:30pm | Year-Round Herbs in Rochester

Despite our cold climate, many herbs grow quite happily year-round in the Rochester area. They add flavor and nutrients to food, offer benefits to the skin and hair and have been used through the ages to treat medical conditions. Discover which annuals and perennials grow well here and their particular requirements for soil and light, then get acquainted with the unique scents, colors and textures of various herbs. Take an herb plant home to plant in your garden and a cut herb to dry and use later!

This class is appropriate for all ages, although anyone under the age of 14 should be accompanied by an adult.

This class will take place indoors at Rochester Brainery located at 176 Anderson Ave. F109, Rochester, NY 14607.

Live subtitles will be available upon request during this class. If you would like to request a sign language interpreter, or will be attending class with an aide please fill out our contact form. Please also let us know if you have any preferences (seating, vision access, etc).
