Join us for a fast-paced intensive crash course in joke writing! If you’ve never performed stand-up comedy this is an invitation to start writing your first set of material before you perform at local open mics, and if you are already a performer this is how you can step back from your act and break new ground. You will be taught the basic building blocks of jokes and comedy sets, then be guided through the process of writing five jokes in different styles, each generated through different methods. You will get feedback on each joke you write, and there is no on-stage component to the class. Please note: This ticket includes one glass of cider for those 21+. Anyone under the age of 21 can enjoy a non-alcoholic beverage. A happy half-hour will take place from 6:00pm-6:30pm and the class will run from 6:30pm-9:00pm.
