If you can't find the answer to what you're looking for in our FAQs, you can reach us through our contact form or by emailing contactus@rochesterbrainery.com. Since we're a small team, we ask that you please allow 3-4 business days for a response.
Nowhere, but also everywhere! Let us explain: While we had our own space from March 2013 to April 2023, we've gone space-less. Instead, we're partnering with venues all around Rochester, NY to host our monthly in-person classes.
Right online! If you have any trouble purchasing your ticket, just send us a message and we would be happy to help.
Think of it this way: when you go to the theater or a concert, you need to purchase one ticket per person, regardless of their age. Same thing goes for our in-person classes.
Unless a class notes otherwise (a date night class, for example), we ask that you please purchase one ticket per person.
That would be important to know, wouldn't it? The location information for each class is listed within the class description, as well as a quick link to Google Maps.
We do not sell gift cards, however you can gift a specific class and send it directly to the recipient at checkout. Just look for the "Gift This Item" button on each class page.
Rochester Brainery may cancel a class for extreme weather conditions, in the case of an emergency, if we have not reached the class minimum to run, or in the event of a teacher emergency.
While we understand and appreciate that students travel from all over for our in-person classes, we do make cancellation decisions based solely on the weather in our immediate area (Monroe County).
Since winter weather is the standard here in Rochester, NY, we generally only cancel classes if the Rochester City School District cancels classes or if there is a recommendation to stay of the roads.
If you are concerned about driving in winter weather conditions, we recommend exploring our online classes that you can take from the comfort of your home.
We're sorry to hear you won't be able to join us!
Class ticket purchases are non-refundable for any reason; within our outside of your control (i.e. illness, a work trip, etc.). However a transfer into a different class may be granted if requested at least 7 days prior to the class date.
As a small business, this is the best way we can ensure our teachers are paid for their time and reimbursed for any supplies they've purchased and prepared for class.
Making sure our classes are accessible is important to us. Important accessibility notes specific to each class and venue are listed within each class description.
We are happy to accommodate any seating, vision access, or other preferences. If you would like to request a sign language interpreter or will be attending class with an aid, please fill out our contact form to let us know.
We do offer direct billing for students looking to receive reimbursement for attending classes. To discuss next steps, please send send us a message through our contact form.
Throughout the year we occasionally run promotions. These promotions are only valid for purchases during the time the promotion is running and cannot be applied after the fact. If you missed a deal, we apologize and hope you catch the next one. Discounts cannot be used in combination with other discounts.
