During this class hosted at Katboocha Booch Bar, students will not only learn what kombucha is - but also how to make it themselves. All participants will receive a starter kit (SCOBY, starter liquid farmed from Katboocha, sugar, and tea), detailed instructions, and a bottle of Katboocha kombucha!

Meet the Teacher
Kat Schwarz is the owner of Katboocha Booch Bar, Rochester's first all-kombucha brewery! Katboocha focuses on small batch kombucha to hone in on flavor and artistry through "huggable" fermenters. Each batch is brewed no more than 60 gallons at a time, and each flavor is uniquely paired with its tea. Kat is thrilled to be at the precipice of this explosive new culture in Rochester, and aims to help shape the way we think about beverages.
