You tell us! Since we don’t focus on one area of interest (i.e. only art classes), no matter the topic we would love to explore if it would be a good fit.

In general though, we look for classes are single-session (with exceptions for things like pottery classes) and somewhere between 1-3 hours long. We primarily focus on classes for adults, but many of our classes welcome kids of all ages too.

We're glad you asked! When you teach in partnership with us, you're working with a local business who aims to connect Rochester, NY in a unique way. We know and love our city and value building inclusive community partnerships that benefit everyone involved.

We aim to make teaching easier—aka help with all the things you may not have time for. We'll handle: ticket sales, customer service, cancellations or exchanges, take photos of your classes and projects, team up for marketing and promotions, coordinate technology, print handouts, be on-site to help with set-up and clean-up, handle check-in, partner with you on private class opportunities, and more.

It's important to us that our RB Teacher Community feels that teaching is worth their time. Since everyone is looking to achieve different goals by connecting with the community in this way, you tell us what that's worth to you.

Some of our teachers build in $5-$20/ticket. We can also build in the cost of supplies on a per ticket basis (if your class needs them, of course).

For our part, on average we'll build in somewhere between $11-$15 to cover our operational costs. This cost may vary based on the cost of the ticket and the specific needs of the class.

We have teachers that teach once a week and others that teach once a year. Frequency depends on your schedule, our availability, and how popular your class becomes.
