Studio 34 Creative Arts Learning CenterIn this four-part, comprehensive beginner workshop, you will learn the Louis Comfort Tiffany stained glass method, an alternative to using leaded channels between glass pieces. Cut and shape glass to fit your design pattern and create your own piece of art. Students will have a choice of patterns, glass colors, and textures to personalize their artwork.
Please note: Students will need to be available on May 6th, 7th, 20th, and 27th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Glass colors may vary. Please wear closed-toed shoes and bring safety glasses. If needed, safety glasses will be available for purchase from the studio for $5. We do not advise taking stained glass classes during pregnancy.
This class is appropriate for ages 16+. Students between the ages of 16-18 may attend only with parental permission.
This class will take place indoors at Studio 34 Creative Arts Learning Center, located at 34 Elton St, Rochester, NY 14607. The studio is located on the second floor of the largest of the three brick buildings on Elton St. Please use the entrance on the right side. Additional parking is located at the corner of Atlantic and Elton.
If you would like to request a sign language interpreter, will be attending class with an aide, or have any preferences (seating, vision access, etc), please fill out our contact form. If you would like to request a sign language interpreter, we ask that you please send a request at least 3 weeks prior to class.
Class ticket purchases are non-refundable for any reason. A transfer into a different class of equal or greater value may be granted if requested at least 72 hours prior to the class date. Students are always welcome to have someone attend in their place, too!
While we know this is not always ideal, as a small business this is the only way we can ensure our teachers are paid for their time and supplies and our venues are paid rent for their space. We appreciate your support!

Michele Ramsey is a recently retired school teacher and now shares her professional teaching experience as a glass instructor at Studio 34 Creative Arts Center. Michele has studied with world-class glass artists to develop her body of work.
Yvonne Fordham is a Master Gardener and professional glass artist. Yvonne’s love of the outdoors and flowers can be seen in her beautiful glass panels, bird baths, and garden art decor. Yvonne’s art can be found locally at The Artful Gardener and Studio 34 Creative Arts Center.
Studio 34 Creative Arts Learning Center is an open studio and learning center for the arts, including stained glass, mosaics, jewelry design, metalsmith, digital photography, and more.
