Want to learn to crochet but find most tutorials or patterns to be gibberish? In this introductory crash course, students will learn basic crochet skills, as well as the ability to decode crochet patterns and decipher common acronyms. This workshop will primarily focus on chaining, tying a slipknot, and slip stitching. We will also practice the single and double crochet stitch. In addition to mechanics and technique, students will discuss the most sustainable and ethically produced types of yarn and brands. Please note: all materials will be provided.
