Come to this class with a willingness to take a chance and clothes you don't mind getting paint on! This is a hands-on class and you will walk away with a painting that you painted yourself. This class is taught in a demonstration style, where students are able to follow along with their own paint, brush and canvas which is provided by the teacher! While this is intended to be a beginner class, the techniques learned are invaluable and can be used over and over again.
Class location: This class will take place at University Gallery at RIT located at 166 Lomb Memorial Dr, Rochester, NY 14623.
Parking Info: After 5pm, all general, reserved, and visitor parking spots are open to the public in Lot E and Lot F. Park and walk through the breezeway to the right of the large orange MAGIC building, taking the doors to the right into Booth Hall. University Gallery is at the end of the hallway.
About the teacher:
Steve Duprey is an artist working in acrylics whose main focus is landscapes. He comes from a background of Theatre and has been directing for 30 years or so. I'm directing Most recently, Duprey directed Pittsford Musicals summer production of " A Chorus Line".
