Looking for a unique experience to share with your date? Check this out: glass fusing! Design a stunning bath or feeder for your yard with dazzling colors, working as a team. Projects can be hung from a tree or mounted on a cast iron base.

Please note: Tickets are priced per couple and each couple will work on one project. Please wear closed toe shoes. All tools provided and no prior experience is required. Please bring safety glasses; if needed they are available for purchase from the studio for $5. Students will need to purchase their own cast-iron base - dimensions will be provided during class. Several designs are available for purchase at class.

This class is appropriate for ages 18+.

Location:
This class will take place indoors at Studio 34 Creative Arts Learning Center, located at 34 Elton St, Rochester, NY 14607. The studio is located on the second floor of the largest of the three brick buildings on Elton St. Please use the entrance on the right side. Additional parking is located at the corner of Atlantic and Elton.

About the teachers:
Yvonne Fordham is a Master Gardener and professional glass artist. Yvonne’s love of the outdoors and flowers can be seen in her beautiful glass panels, bird baths, and garden art decor. Yvonne’s art can be found locally at The Artful Gardener and Studio 34 Creative Arts Center where she is senior faculty.

Michele Ramsey is a recently retired school teacher and now shares her professional teaching experience as a glass instructor at Studio 34 Creative Arts Center. Michele has studied with world-class glass artists to develop her body of work.

Studio 34 is known for small class sizes to maximize student learning experience. Since opening in 2000, Studio 34 has welcomed more than 15,000 students, some traveling from around the world to take classes taught by their professional faculty and visiting artists from across the globe.
