Join us for a hands-on, how-to class for the art of making "Pysanky," or highly decorated Ukrainian Easter Eggs, using the traditional wax-resist (batik) method. Dyes, beeswax and a stylus are used to decorate the eggs with traditional Ukrainian designs. Fill your Easter basket with beautiful pysanky this year, rather than just plain colored eggs! Note: This class is for ages 12 and up. All supplies will be provided. No previous artistic ability required - just a little bit of patience & a lot of enthusiasm!About the teacher:Tate DeCaro is a native of Rochester, NY, though she has also spent time living in the Hudson Valley, Canada & Siena, Italy.
