American author Edgar Allen Poe was a master at creating tales of mystery and the macabre. His well-known story “The Tell-Tale Heart” will come to dramatic life in a performance by Christopher Lynn. Following his performance, Chris will lead attendees through a lively discussion on the life of Poe and analysis of his work.
Please note: The cost of this class not only includes all of your class supplies but also one happy hour drink, or a non-alcoholic drink, of your choice. Drinks and mingling will take place from 5:30pm-6:00pm and the class itself will run from 6:00pm-7:30pm.

About the teacher:
Christopher Lynn is a museum educator at Genesee Country Village & Museum, where he, and his distinctive mustache, can be found staffing numerous buildings throughout the village. His areas of expertise include Civil War balloons and creeping people out with his renditions of Edgar Allen Poe stories during museum events and programs. Chris is also a musician and is involved in a number of community music groups and related activities near his home in Dansville, NY, where he resides with his wife and three adorable cats.
