As the holiday season approaches, what better way to embrace the changing weather than a study of the iconic pine tree? Using watercolor, we will explore color mixing, layering to create depth, and various brush strokes used to create a forest scene fit for a frame. Students will start with warm-up exercises that they can use in their everyday watercolor practice, and then spend the class working toward a completed 9x12 piece. Students will also receive a workbook they can use to follow along with the instructor during class.
