Have you been thinking about your skin and wondering if you could be taking better care of it but don't know where to start? This class will give background information on the skin as our bodies largest organ and introduce you to what a normal daily care routine can look like. We will cover different kinds of products from cleansers to serums and moisturizers and how to properly incorporate them into a routine for you. We will also discuss the aging of the skin, factors that cause it as well as ways to slow it down and prevent it. We will briefly touch on skin cancer and warning signs and the importance of wearing a good SPF. In addition, we will discuss hyper-pigmentation, breakouts, and sensitive skin. I will provide answers to frequently asked questions that I hear and open the floor to any questions you all may have!

About the teacher:
Leah Hadden has been a licensed esthetician for 5 years and has worked in spas from CA to NY to SC. She attended esthetics school in Los Angeles and was also certified there through PCA in chemical peels. Leah was inspired to start a career in skin care because she suffered from adult acne and wanted to find a way to solve her skin problems. She loved what she learned so much that she wanted to be able to continue to help others to do the same. Now she has helped hundreds of people feel comfortable in their skin. When she's not working on skin she enjoy styling hair and makeup for special events!
