Ornate and brightly colored masks are typically made and worn during Carnival celebrations in different countries in Latin America and Europe. But they are not just for Carnival – they can be used for any other occasion. Make or paint your own unique paper-mâché mask in this workshop.

About the teacher:
Evelyn D'Agostino, founder of the Grupo Cultural Latinos en Rochester (or GCLER), was inspired to bring her rich Panamanian culture to life in Rochester NY and pass these histories and traditions from her childhood on to the next generations.
