This year for Valentine's Day, TEDxFlourCity has partnered with Eastman Theatre for a very special event! On February 14th, Eastman School of Music will present Vic Juris.
Juris is a New Jersey native who has been playing the guitar for over 40 years and has studied jazz with legend Pat Martino. In 2012 He was #5 in Jazz Guitar by Jazz Critics in the Jazz Inside Jazz Awards 2012, a major accomplishment which truly shows his talent. Tickets are just $10 a ticket and there will be two shows, one at 7 P.M. and the other at 10 P.M. For more information go here.
If you aren't familiar with TEDxFlourCity, they are an independently organized TED event which highlights the passion and talent of Rochester. During their events, people have the chance to share their stories, their inspirations, and learn what inspires others. They host a large event once a year and smaller events throughout the year (often at the amazing Daily Refresher!) so be on the lookout!
