Students will capture an indoor scene with a variety of micron pens, then complete the sketch with a watercolor wash that will bring the illustration to life. This class is oriented for beginners but others may enjoy learning a new medium.
This class is appropriate for ages 14+.
This class will take place outside on the grounds of Third Presbyterian Church, located at 4 Meigs St, Rochester, NY 14607. Parking is available in the lot across the street from the church, on the corner of East Ave. and Meigs St. Students will walk with the instructor from the parking lot to the designated class area.
If you would like to request a sign language interpreter, will be attending class with an aide, or have any preferences (seating, vision access, etc), please fill out our contact form. If you would like to request a sign language interpreter, we ask that you please send a request at least 3 weeks prior to class.
Class ticket purchases are non-refundable for any reason. A transfer into a different class of equal or greater value may be granted if requested at least 72 hours prior to the class date. Students are always welcome to have someone attend in their place, too!
While we know this is not always ideal, as a small business this is the only way we can ensure our teachers are paid for their time and supplies and our venues are paid rent for their space. We appreciate your support!

Meet the Teacher
Carole Agosto has been drawing since she was a child and has used drawing as an outlet for major events that occurred in her life. She has art journals filled with drawings in pen and watercolor. After being inspired by urban sketchers in Chicago, she became a member of Urban Sketchers of Syracuse. Carole is now a member of the Greater Rochester Plein Air art group and has competed in many art competitions.
