The Rochester Arc + Flame Center’s Sampler Class is the perfect opportunity to explore the art of glass or refine your existing skills. Working with borosilicate glass and flame, you’ll learn essential techniques such as lighting and adjusting the torch, stretching, gathering, cutting, and fusing glass rods into stunning designs. Students will create up to three glass pieces, experimenting with a wide range of vibrant colors to bring their creative ideas to life. Whether you’re a first-time flame worker or an experienced artist looking to expand your skills, this fun and hands-on workshop is the perfect way to express your creativity through glass!
Please note: All safety equipment, tools, and glass materials are included. Finished pieces will be ready for pickup 1 week after class to ensure safe annealing.
