Make your own fused glass nightlight with a design you create from pieces of colored glass on a rectangular base. Your artful design will be fused together in a kiln to create a single, durable piece. You will learn to use hand tools to cut and shape glass, as well as techniques for using different forms of glass and layering. The final piece is attached to a nightlight base with a brass clip. Each nightlight has an on/off switch allowing you to control when it is in use.
Please note: For everyone’s safety, we require safety glasses during class—feel free to bring your own or borrow/purchase a pair on-site. Closed-toe shoes are mandatory, and clothing should cover your legs to at least the knees. You may bring beverages in closed containers to the worktables, but food is not permitted.
