Terms & Conditions and Service

All Brainery class tickets are non-refundable for any reason, including but not limited to non-attendance, scheduling conflicts, illness, or personal emergencies.

Brainery classes are ticketed, event-based experiences. As is standard across the event and workshop industry, instructors are compensated and venues are reserved based on tickets sold, not attendance. This policy allows us to fairly compensate our instructors, cover material costs, and pay our venue partners.

It is your responsibility to know the date, time, location and any other pertinent information regarding your class.

Transfers
A transfer into a different class of equal or greater value may be granted if requested at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled class start time. Transfer requests made within 72 hours of the class are not guaranteed.

Substitutions
If you are unable to attend, you are always welcome to send someone in your place at no additional cost.

Cancellations by Brainery
In the rare event that Brainery must cancel a class, registrants will be offered either:

  • A transfer into a future class of equal value, or
  • A refund, as required by applicable New York State law.

By purchasing a ticket, customers acknowledge and agree to this policy at the time of sale.

Meet the Teachers

Marisa Krol Esler and Brittany Rea are the co-owners of The Adorned Studios and together, share their passion for crafting and metalsmithing with the Rochester community. Marisa has been teaching with Rochester Brainery since 2015 and brings years of experience rooted in her apprenticeship with local metalsmith Sharon Jeter and her own practice, Interstellar Love Craft. Brittany of Rea Designs works across many materials but is especially drawn to metal, creating modern, minimalist jewelry that highlights its natural beauty. Together, they create and sell thoughtfully designed work inspired by timeless forms and skilled craftsmanship. As instructors, they love welcoming students at every stage of their creative journey and helping them build confidence at the bench.
