Come soak in the abundance of berry season as we bring our forest bathing walks to the farm! During this two-hour event at Wild Hill Farm, you’ll explore a gentle, mindful way of being on a farm, quite different than your typical u-pick experience. This practice invites you to slow down, engage your senses, and appreciate this magical moment in our region’s agricultural calendar. Along the way, enjoy berry tasting, connect with others interested in deepening their relationship with food plants, and take in the beauty of the season. Your ticket includes one u-pick quart of blueberries or raspberries.
Please note: This class is an active walking tour, approximately 1 mile on natural terrain. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. The rain date is July 30th from 9:00AM–11:00AM.
This class is appropriate for ages 18+.
This class will take place at Wild Hill Farm, located at 2176 Elton Road, Bloomfield, NY 14469. Upon arrival, look for a big grey/blue barn with the "Wild Hill Farm" sign out front. Please drive in and follow the signs to the berry patch to park.
If you would like to request a sign language interpreter, will be attending class with an aide, or have any preferences (seating, vision access, etc), please fill out our contact form.
Class ticket purchases are non-refundable for any reason. A transfer into a different class of equal or greater value may be granted if requested at least 72 hours prior to the class date. Students are always welcome to have someone attend in their place, too!
While we know this is not always ideal, as a small business this is the only way we can ensure our teachers are paid for their time and supplies and our venues are paid rent for their space. We appreciate your support!

Meet the Teacher
Lauren Mohn holds a PhD in Botany and is a Certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy (ANFT). After years in ethnobotanical research, teaching, and outreach, she came to learn that the core of her work has always been supporting others in deepening connections with the natural world. She co-founded Lilac Nature Connection with Elio Lewis to focus on this more directly. As a forest bathing guide, Lauren offers space for people to slow down and reconnect with nature in ways we’re all capable of, ways that can support both our wellbeing and the wellbeing of the land.
